Myself, I think Travis hit it on the cutting-edge technology, I mean have you seen some of their robotics? Needless to say, most people think of the future of Japan to be extremely advanced and active, however what happens when you take a look at Japan in more of a darker tone. Illustrator Tokyo Fantasy has photoshopped such visions of Tokyo after an apocalypse that captures the beauty of nature.

Seven years; something about it just makes you stop and go - "wow…" I mean in this day and age; web sites come and go; and as for design portals, now a days they are a dying breed - Remember when design portals were the standard? This makes another design portal to go on the chalk board of design portal’s that are now gone. In a way, I wondered why Jason didn’t just choose someone else to run the portal? - I somewhat can understand that when a person leaves such a project that sometimes the user base feels that it just isn’t the same; I can’t blame Jason for ending it - He did a very important thing not letting it linger. So if there are any design portals that you wish to give respect, feel free to do so.

 

Most of the time when someone sees graffiti, it’s it a common form of a quick tag - Kilroy was here anyone? And most of the time the cause of graffiti is done by immature teenagers; but what about those who do graffiti as an art? In some cases it can be the most beautiful art done; and in other cases it’s trash. What happens when a building is full of decay and you let people do graffiti on it? Graffiti has been used in advertising in more than one way; Ecko for example, and sprint with their sprint speed campaign is also another form of graffiti.

Well in japan you can find some artistic graffiti on places you wouldn’t expect it; not the walls in a mall, or in a bathroom stall but on the manholes on sidewalks and the street.

When I was growing up I never saw anything so beautiful nor did I ever imagine it; I would love it if my city would start doing this. Needless to say, rethink what you know about graffiti. More graffiti man holes can be found here.
